Is it possible to update JB3 Pnp v1.22 to V1.3 with a chip ? Or is it a completely different unit ?

Yes, you can. Check out Terry's website.

Make sure you get the right type of burner.

you can go about it both ways...

However, if you have a chip burner, ALL of the updated versions are available for free... So if you're going to buy more than two updates, it'll save you money if you grab the burner instead

I just mailed him the chip out of my old unit and he updated it for me for free and sent it back. No down time and all free.

You can buy v1.3 for $20, or return your old v1.2 to terry and get the v1.3 back.
