Go drive a Benz then. and when your C class is in the shop all the time you can have a C class as a loaner.
Did you make an appointment to have the work done? Did you request a BMW loaner when you made the appointment?

all dealers differ. Two years ago the dealer near me had a fleet of Pontiac's. It was brutal. I thought they did it just to remind me how much better the quality is on BMW's. Felt like the doors were going to fall off and I'm not a fan of front wheel drive myself.
Anyway...they switched to an all bmw fleet about a year ago. (3's and 5's) They said it was because of the customer service survey results. They were not getting "All 5's" on their responses and took it seriously. when you get your email or phone call on your service...be sure to let them know it...hopefully others will speak up. |

My local servicing dealer has always given me a BMW and I bought neither of my cars from him. Last time I got a nice 528 to tool around in.
You have to get a relationship going.

I would try to get a relationship going except i think that my age is hurting me. I'm only 27 and this is my first beamer. If they continue to treat me like this, i'll just simply vote with my hard earned $ and buy a benz. How can these guys possibly think that a pinto is comparable to a 335i. To add to my insult, i'm stuck with the pos during the july 4th weekend.

I'm not much older than you are and I have not experienced any discrimination because of my age. Although, No matter how old you are, a good relationship with your SA could help a lot. The dealership has a policy that they will not provide loaners on Fridays or Saturdays, but I have gotten loaners on a Friday as well as a Saturday. So, I say get chummy with your SA! |

You lucky to get it replace, my dealer give me a fit and said the tire is worn unevenly and said I have 15k on the car the tire is too worn out, and they will not honor my tire insurance that $600down the drain. Now i have to buy my own tire.

Yup... I ended up in a corolla... LOL... I was shocked.... but it was not an appointment. Driving down from houston I called them to let them know I would be dropping mine for a brake job. Later I found out that if they are out of bmw loaners they rent out the cars (in this case it was enterprise)... but if you make an appointment, make sure you ask for a bmw. It did gave me an opportunity to compare the 09 corolla with my first one (1991 corolla) lol... I liked the original one better...
