Any 335ś with an aftermarket exhaust?
I was just wondering what options we really have around here. I know you can get the BMW Performance exhaust from BMW, but other than that, has anyone had an custom exhaust made or ordered one from overseas?

I really want to get an exhaust. I was very keen, but a recent warranty job made me appreciate my motor plan again. So now I am stuck, since i dont want to pay the 27K for the BMW exhaust. I have some bolt on part that I take on and off for services, but its clearly not that simple with the exhaust.

I also have a bit of a issue with the performance exhausts being lighter. I think it throws the car out of balance when you remove 30 odd kgs from the back of the car. Dunno will let you guys know my findings.

George, I like your thinking...and agree that the exhaust mod allows one to be creative.
Lazlo6: BMW dealers will only be really temperamental when the cats in the exhaust are tempered with. Think so? An aftermarket exhaust cannot negatively damage the car. The waranty risk will always be there no matter what power mod and one should decide how far you want to go.

As far as I know the Hamann exhausts for the 335i are really Eisenmann exhausts with a different badge and a steeper price tag. They are good, though, even if in my opinion with the BMW Performance or the Bastuck you get better bang for your buck. For complete exhaust systems the Autobahn Exotics is the best compromise between race-sportive sound and no drone IMO (but that's not legal where I am so it was no option for me).

Interesting...Revo, should have a conversation with you about hamann...I would love to hear about the bastuck, when you are ready...i think it is going to become a big imported product in S.A. real soon.

Yep, that is the eisenmann sound I heard a few years ago - now how can you get that sound out of your head and soul? - no way, meneer!
Revo, does the local supersprint distributor/import/company also import the "rear racecats" from supersprint?
