First Bimmer-Price?
Hey guys, I'm looking into purchasing a 2009 328 coupe, auto, white. Are there any deals out there? I searched the forum but it seems that most people post about the 335 which is out of my price range. What price should I expect to pay?

if your looking for options expect to pay more than 500$. it really all depends on how much your putting down, how many months and how many miles per year. |

Purchase
I was thinking about purchasing not leasing. I'm planning on buying a home sometime in 2012. Options, don't really need much if any. Just want to pay the lowest price possible so that I can still save up for my down payment on a home.

max of 500$ ball range. depends on the dealership and how well you negotiate with them. my brother got a 328i sedan for 475$ a month, 0 down.

For a purchase, there is 1.9% available on coupes and sedans. There is also free automatic in the sedan, but not in the coupe.
If you want a completely stripped model you probably need to order it very soon - in a couple weeks there will be no more orders and you'll have to purchase from the dealer's lot or whatever can be traded for by the dealer. To the poster that said $0 down and $475/month - not possible for a purchase. A completely stripped down car at invoice with no money down is going to be $550 a month or so.

Invoice for a white 328 coupe with auto is 35,665. That includes the destination fee. Getting it at invoice is pretty rare in my opinion. I've seen a lot of posts on here with people getting theirs at $400 or so over invoice. I paid $1500 over invoice for a 335. Plus you are likely to have to pay the maco and training fees which are about $500. If you can get the car in the 36-37,000 range your doing pretty good.
I'm not sure how people are coming up with precise monthly payments. Do you live in a state with sales tax? If so you have to add that on top of the purchase price, destination, maco, and training fees. with no down payment expect 500-600 for 72 month, 600-700 for 60 month, and 700-800 for 48 month. |

Thanks
Thanks for the replies. Everything has been very helpful. I'm going to a couple of dealerships this weekend and run some numbers. I'm going to compare the monthly between a 2007 328 coupe and a new 2009 coupe. I just went on cars.com and saw a white 2007 coupe with 37910 miles for 28884. We'll see how low they are willing to go. It is a CPO and it was originally purchased on 12/22/06 so it still has about 1.5 years left on the original warranty but only 13k miles left. What do you guys think will be a good price on this. Thanks again.

Better Research
Man,I have to do more research. I thougt this seemed like a decent deal. The car is equippped with sports package, comfort access and nav. Haven't seen any 335 for 25k. Are these private sellers or dealers? Any other website recommendations besides auto trader or cars.com
