Smartphone integration
Logic 7

Easy negotiation with my salesperson. Paying $750 over invoice (or $1,180 over invoice if you don't count MACO and training as part of the invoice). I might have been able to shave a couple hundred off of that, but he also could have legitimately dinged me for $800 on my lease turn-in (scrape on the bumper and two rear tires) and isn't charging me anything.

September seems so far away now.

Invoice on the car is $48,680. Training and MACO total $430 and as far as I understand are part of the dealer cost. I am paying $49,860 which is invoice ($48,680) plus training & MACO ($430) plus $750.

That is why I said $750 or $1180 over invoice, depending on how you look at training and MACO. I understand those are legitimate dealer costs, but I don't know how other people account for them when they say they paid $XXX over invoice.

Nothing extra being charged for docs, dealer prep, etc. Getting mats at cost as well.

MSRP was $52,950.

Manual!

Drove the Step and it gets the job done just fine. But I still prefer a manual transmission (especially when the auto costs extra - I think the free Step promotion is sedans only).

I was torn on the Logic 7 - I hope its worth it. I listened to it some and it sounded pretty decent although I didn't fiddle with the adjustments much. But I find the base stereo that's in my 325i to be downright offensive in its sound quality so I figured the upgrade would be worth it.

The good: Car is in the paint shop and scheduled to finish production today.

The bad: I broke my left wrist on Friday and at the moment cannot safely drive a manual transmission. Hope I'm out of my cast when its time to take delivery. Find out today if I need surgery.

i am contemplating on the LOGIC 7. I want to order one with it, but man, i wish they part away from it. I like the Bose over that.

It will depend on how much I decide to put down, but I'm locked in at 1.9%. If I pay nothing but tax up front, payment will be approx. $870/month. I'm definitely putting something down and will have a payment under $800/month.
