FS: Billy Boat e90 335i stainless steel mufflers - $450 + shipping
I have a full, stainless steel downpipe back exhaust for sale consisting of - slightly used Billy Boat sport mufflers (Section 3) SOLD; and - brand new in box Billy Boat X-pipe (Sections 1 and 2) with resonators SOLD Lease is up and would like to sell this ASAP. Please PM if interested. The video below is w/ the muffler only since - again - the x-pipe has never been installed (in fact, it has not been removed from the box). And here's their marketing blurb . . . Billy Boat Performance Exhaust, the manufacturer of complete automotive exhaust assemblies, is the worlds' source for BMW exhaust systems.. Precision crafted using 100% T-304 stainless steel and mandrel bending, this exhaust system is manufactured as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory system. By utilizing the factory mounting locations this system requires absolutely no cutting, welding, or modifications for installation. All Billy Boat Performance Exhaust systems come complete with mounting hardware and are direct replacement for stock exhaust systems. Attention to detail in manufacturing means easy installation. No machining. No down time. Just a faster, better sounding, better looking and more muscular BMW. Using our in-house Dyno-jet dyno, each BMW exhaust kit is designed for the best possible performance and sound combination, while retaining all the factory mounting locations. Skilled craftsmen incorporate high quality materials and use modern equipment to fabricate each system, ensuring proper fit and performance. Last edited by wadgras44; 07-20-2009 at 11:31 PM.. |

Sorry, dumb Q, does this fit E92?
I live in Philly and very interested, but not sure if I can get the go-ahead from my soon-to-be-wife................... PS. You have a great looking car, come to one of the local meets before you return your car? and you getting another BMW? or moving on to something more exotic?

Sweet. And it might fit This thread is for an e92. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=billy+boat But to be certain, please call B&B @ (888) 598-3688. In my experience, they're pretty helpful folks. And as far as your soon-to-be wife is concerned, just let her know that her man would be doing a good deed in bailing out an amigo that is in hot water with his wife for spending too much $$$ on mods Also, thanks for the props on the car. I only wish I had an e92 like you. I'm trying my best to land an e90 M3 but I might just be too damn cheap to swing it. My lease is up shortly so there will be lots of other goodies up for grab shortly (powdercoated calipers, slotted / drilled rotors, M-tech steering wheel, LM reps w/ PS2) so stay - forgive the pun - tuned. |

hey man, thanks.
From the E92 thread, it does look stick out a bit. I have mtech rear, so I hope that would cover that issue a bit. I just listened to the youtube upload. DAMN... it sounds good. Not too aggressive/loud, but noticeable difference nonetheless. Definitely an upgrade over stock. damn........ I dont know........ I dont know..... bump for a great item @ great price!! If I hadnt drop $3K on my camera lens/equipment.. I'd snap this out like right now and install it tomorrow!!

For any e92 folks that may have been interested - I have just learned that the x-pipe is, in fact, only for the COUPE. And this is despite the fact that my box has big fat e90 sticker on it. It seems that B&B does not make an x-pipe for the e90.
And many thx to josephkao for helping me to uncover this fact through his direct correspondence with B&B. So to summarize - this is a full dp back exhaust for an e92 - and not the e90! To avoid any confusion I will likely start a new thread. Last edited by wadgras44; 07-20-2009 at 06:45 AM.. |
