Aero lip DIY
Looked in the "Archived Downloads For Members (manuals/guides/publications/etc.)" subsection but didn't see anything. Is there a DIY for installing an aero lip?
Thanks ![]() |

Take off the few screws underneath.
3M double sided taped (yes it is strong enough and no need to use adhesive). Re-use the screws you took off and place aero lip on. Painters tape to hold in place. Difficulty level 1-10 = 2.0

No holes need to be drilled.
a. Clean up your bumper well. b. unscrew 3-4 from the bottom of the bumper c. double side tape inside of the lip (you'll see the area you can tape). d. spray a little bit of windex over double side tapes to make it easier to move around for perfect fit. e. (better to have a buddy) hold each end of the lip and pop in. f. it's very tight perfect fit. So with a bit of windex you used, you can move a bit to make it perfect fit. g. screw back on. h. wait about 20-30 mins so windex can dry. It's really not hard at all. I'm not a DIYer what so ever but I did it myself (with a friend to hold the other side of the lip). (I used this forum DIY to install my aero lip almost a year ago but somehow I can't find it either.)
