Canadian Availability of Montego Blue

Just came back from the dealership, and ordered a 328xi. The sales wasn't very knowledgable, but he said that Montego Blue will be delayed until March 2007. Just wondering if anyone here has heard a different date?

Here's what I ordered anyway:

328xi - Sparkling Graphite
Preminum package
Sport package
Cream Beige Leatherette
Burl Walnut trim
6spd auto

This sounds strange to me as Montego Blue is available from the start, at least in Germany.
E90 Mystic Blue is replaced by Montego Blue and production starts in September.

Am supposed to receive a 328xi MT in Montego Blue in October (to be built in September). Am also in Toronto. Sounds weird. Which dealership?

Edit: Doh.... sorry , I ordered Monaco Blue not Montego... (idjit).

I'm going to give BMW canada a ring tomorrow, and hopefully they can sort this out. There are no delays in the US, so why should there be a half year delay for Canada?

I heard somewhere that Montego was not going to be part of the first production.
But, nothing about delay untill March..... that's nuts.

scheduled production date for my montego blue E92 335i is week 41.
delivery hopefully in week 42 but surely in week 43.

My e90 335i is built.
I was given the serial number yeaterday.
Should drive it off the dealership around third week of Oct.

Montego blue, Black Dakota, 6-Speed Manual, Sport Pack, Premium Pack.

This is really weird.

No official word from the customer service at BMW canada. Some guy on the other line insisted on calling me back, even after I told him that I would be out of reception range and email would be better. Sigh....

Got a call on friday from BMW canada. It seems like my dealer was bullshitting me, and montego blue is available.

They were bullshitting you. There is a Montego Blue/Beige 328xi sitting in the showroom at Open Road BMW in Newmarket. It was so beautiful it almost made me trade in my 6 month old Arctic car.
