Very interesting. Thanks for posting.

I've got an '09 on order so it doesn't affect me. But it'll be interesting to see the 2010 335i pricing now that the sport pkg will be STANDARD. (the most significant change, imo).

Woah, check out page 4, the sport suspension is now part of the sport package on xDrive models? I am pretty sure there has never been a sport suspension on xDrives (whether you got M-Sport or ZSP)

Yup and no more REST function. Haven't hit my first winter but it sounds very useful.

Finally Bluetooth and BMW Assist is standard - makes sense, didn't understand why it was only standards for 335's.

Also NAV can be purchased without shelling the extra $2,800 for executive package.

The standard heated steering would have been nice to have on my production but oh well.

FYI for those focussing on e93s - hardly any changes.

Looks like my optional 17 inch wheels won't be so unique anymore as they are now standard on all 328i's.

the REST button was one of the my favorite feature on my car, i think only BMW has that function in the car. too bad they decide to remove it.

just push the REST button "right after" you turn off your car, it works with or without your key. the car will then recirculate residual heat from your engine to you, works well and doesn't need to turn your engine on to keep you warm in your car during winter.

When a premium is required for the navi???? I have navi + bluetooth w/o premium on my 08.

Hm... the first time I see that I can live with a 3-series that no need for any option!

How come sport suspension is not the option for 335i? Is it standard now on base model?

Yep. If you wanted a 335i w/ sport pkg, then you saved $2000 automatically compared to last year.

Assuming 2010 msrp pricing for a base 335i stays the same, relative to 2009.

Did that document have the new pricing somewhere? I didn't notice it.

ie. If the price goes up $2k for 2010 then the point about the sport pkg is moot.

You're right - it's not explcit but on page 4 for the 323i sedan, the restriction says that Executive can only be purchased WITH the premium package. I read this as implying that you have to buy both to get the Executive package.

There don't seem to be any restrictions on the 328 (e90,92,93) packages - I took it as you can now get the Nav and idrive without premium package.

I would have paid the extra $2k for the idrive for my 328 but the dealer told me I had to buy the premium too - so $4.8k for idrive ... I said forget it. I didn't want it that bad. They told me that to install Nav the factory needs to install the wiring for BlueTooth, so 335 owners could purchase Nav for only $2K because 335s came standard with BT.
