I scraped a cement pole..
so i scraped a pole in a parking garage. its not dented but I think the paint got scraped off. judging from the pictures, is my only option to get the entire door repainted? Or is there some sort of way it could be buffed out or repaired without repainting the entire door?

If you can scrape your finger nail across it and feel it then it needs repainting. Just from looking at it you need to get the entire door painted or hope they do a really good job of blending. Sorry to hear about the accident. Good luck!

I would try buffing it out first. Youll be surprised to see how most if not all will come out.

this is what happens when you try to drive back home after hitting up 4th/6th street.
ne how, i agree with one of the above responses, try buffing it out first. if you are sure you got down to the bone, then you'll have to repaint it. At least you do not have any dents! Quote:
