for my son,,,,

will it be good idea to get modified car(used) for my son
rather than putting a bulk of money on modifing?
I always have suspicious thinking to modified car that it was possibly
been abused or treated inappropriately...

and when buying a used car,, should i consider year or milege ex)low milege with older car / or / high milege with younger car

other than this if you guys have usefull tips or advice, please let me know,
since i have close to "no" knowledge about cars,,, your help will be very appriciated

Thanks in advance to all bimmer post users

Got to agree, get a stock one and mod it yourself!

If he is buying it for his son than he doesn't want to deal with doing the work. I would just find one done with whatever mods you want on here and buy it. 90% of the cars here have some type of change done to them.

The advantage to buying a modified car is that you can get the mods heavily discounted than if you bought the car stock and added the parts after.

Agreed, if money is the decision maker, buy one that's already modded. As with anything, have it checked out before pulling the trigger. Just because the car is modded doesn't mean it was done right!

The big problem for me with buying a modded car is that a lot of peeps don't know what they're doing when installing and you end up getting bits installed in a half-ass way. I'd only buy a modded ride from someone that I knew for sure was very capable and meticulous with the installs.
