- It's not recommended to put money down on a lease - your $2000 trade in and $3000 down will be money down the toilet if you total your car, for example. Instead, put the cash down in the form of security deposits to lower your money factor - ask the finance guy - this is a BMW FS option.
- If this is a sedan, with no money down, your lease (without taxes) should be around $760/month. Coupe will be less due to higher residuals and lower money factor from BMW FS.

there is enough info out there to find the residual % for this car, the money factor, as well as the invoice price.
calculate the invoice price on edmunds.com based on the options you have. it is accurate. i recently just ordered a 328i, and all the info i found online (the 3 things i mentioned) were accurate. my dealer even tried to charge me .0018 money factor instead of .0015, and i called him out on it. the more you know the better. |
