brake service before track?
Does anyone here think its a good idea to get my break fluid and pads checked before going to the track? The brakes on my car don't feel the same as they did when I bought the car ever since I went to the track last year!

yes, that is a good idea. You probably overheated the brake fluid your last time out, so you have a bit of air in the fluid now, which compresses and gives you a softer/spongy feel on the brake pedal. Have the fluid flushed and replaced with something new, preferably a DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 fluid.

The Pacific Region recommends that you have your brake fluid flushed on an annual basis if you track your car. I would think that's probably not a bad idea especially if your brake hasn't felt the same since the last track event.
