will a 17' x 8' +35mm backspace 5.9' fit?

They might not clear the brakes, but all OEM e9x 17" will fit your 335i.

how to make sure the rims can clear the brakes before i buy it online?
the 17' is for the 335i with sport package in 230 style.

There isn't a 'spec' or number that will answer this, so you'll either need to see if the seller of the wheel has tried it, or test fit it yourself.
