Supply and demand have stabilized a bit on these cars since last winter, which will probably go down as the best time in history to get a new M car. A grand or two cheaper on average than what you see right now IMO.

considering one can be had for $50k private now...you can probably get another 5-8k off by december and prob around $10k off in January since technically it'll be another year older. Add a few thousand $'s if you pick up at a dealership.

$40k-$42k private sale. Their value is going down the tube.

Personally guys, I think your very optimistic in your price perceptions.
If pricing is really that good, I'd buy an M3 myself, but I doubt it. Check at the M3Post for cars for sale... |

What you want and what you get are two very different things. You can buy a used 2008 M3 for high $40k's right now. By December? Mid to low $40k's.

look at the prices of cars in Roundel...
Forums and Roundel ALWAYS have high pricing and they never sell. Realistically priced cars are the ones that sell and the ones on the forums are the ones that get no replies except the "ohh sweet car, good luck" or "man, I wish I could afford this" or "If I can sell my kidney/wife/kid..." comments They're going in the mid $40's right now at auction... |
