Comfort access four door unlocking

I'm waiting on my car to be re-delivered after my E.D. and was curious about a feature I read about in the owner's manual. For NON-iDrive cars with Comfort Access, can the doors be set to unlock all four doors when opening via the driver's door -- like how the passenger's door unlocking works?

I read about the option to do this for remote unlocking (i.e. pressing the unlock button) on p. 20 (I think) of the O.M. Does this also affect the way Comfort Access works? Or is this a setting that only the dealer can do for me?

Thanks.

I am pretty certain you can set this but how, I do not know. This is part of Personal Profiles.

If you change it for the remote, it changes it for CA (i.e., "unlock driver's door = unlock all 4 doors" makes both CA and the remote do that).

I have iDrive, but that shouldn't make any difference.

My 330i with comfort access, but w/o i-Drive, unlocks all 4 doors (and the trunk) upon touching either the drivers door handle or the front passenger side door handle.

Cool. Thanks for everyone's quick responses.

During my E.D. it was a real pain to unlock all four doors... I actually had to use the remote! I guess CA spoiled me pretty quickly.

I've got kids and it would be 10x easier to have CA unlock all four doors to get em into the backseats.

It's part of Personal Profiles. You set it via the turn stalk.

maybe it's the same option (in i-drive) as those of us with remote.

Agreed. That's how I did it. The manual discribes how (just not the one posted on the board since the posted one is for i-drive cars).

Speaking of manuals, does anyone have a pdf version of the non-idrive manual that can be put up here?????

How to get to Settings Mode?

How do you get to the Profile Settings Mode? I haven't found any instructions that talk about this. Is it only accessible by the dealer?

Thanks
