I need help "planning on buying a used 2008 335i coupe or 2007 335i coupe
I was searching for a car recently and found two used cars. I need some advices whether these cars are a good deal to buy. I also want to know how much does 335i coupe owner pay for monthly insurance and annual maintenance cost.
1. 08 335i coupe has almost all options (Jet Black) -Price $35,900.00 -Miles: 25,106 -Options & Pkgs GPS, Sports, Premium and cold packages and more. -Car owned by one owner, owned for 1yr 9mo. -Clean car history checked with carfax. http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory...&partner=ATD_W 2.07 335i coupe exact same options as above (Sparkling Graphite Metall) -Price $29,999.00 -Miles: 39,251 -Options & Pkgs GPS, Sports, Premium and cold packages and more. -Car owned by one owner, owned for 1yr 10mo. (i'm curious about mileage, carfax and the length of ownership, because on the carfax there were numerous times of that the car had been replaced with new parts etc. http://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory...&partner=ATD_W -lastly this car has a clean history according to linked carfax. So, what do you guys think? buying either of these cars is worth the money? If so, which car is better? Please recommend with explaination. And how much is the average auto insurance owning 335i man over 25yrs old? What is you annual maintenance cost? Thanks |

not sure about your insurance costs and such, but while searching for used 07/08s myself, ive run into 2007s as low as 27-28k with comparable mileage. 39,000 miles is quite a bit for 22 months of ownership..

I'd probably go with the first if I had to, purely because of the mileage and the remaining warranty.

To gauge your research, I bought my 07 e92 on 6/26/09 for 29k with 39k, see my sig for the options.
It was in GREAT condition, considering it was a late 2006 build. For insurance, I just turned 26 in June, I'm married and my insurance only went up $10/month from my 06 Subie Legacy GT.

According to the VINs provided by carfax, the two cars have production date only 3 months apart. First is 2007/10, second one is 2007/7... so obviously the 2007 335i is the much better deal @ $29k.
