Latest mods

Just finnished fitting set of M6 style wheels. Staggered fit 8J front and 9J rear. Was coming up to new rear tyres so I thought of these for a set of summer wheels with non run flats. Fitted with Falken 452's and initial drive much quieter than the Mitchelin RFT's have set pressures to the door frame and will monitor over the next few weeks.

They look sikk mate.

They don't look right 'cos Mikey knows his BMW's. To an onlooker that looks stunning.

Good job

Thanks for comments, I too know a little about BMW's, but thought the wheels worth a shot to try out a set of non run flats at the same time. As said only plan on having wheels mounted for rest of summer, makes the car look a little different from the stock wheels.

I keep looking at them and I think it would make a diffence if the car sat a tad lower .

Car is SE spec and does ride higher than M Sport by approx 25mm, agree would look better dropped a little but as said just planning on running them for a while but have not ruled a drop out in future.

Wheels look nice imo but agree with lowering.

Is your car space grey with cream/beige interior?

I can agree with the lowering but I think the photo posted may not give justice with the spacing. The rear already comes out 11mm 9J and ET32 as per stock 8.5J ET37, the fronts are as original 8J ET34.

Like the rims (would say that wouldn't I - still got my set sitting at work! Anyone wanna buy a set of M6 reps lol) - but as others said, I think it needs a bit of a drop. Those wheels, with the big gaps between the spokes maybe exaggerate the extra space around the wheels and arch area.

Don't think they need spacers though, just a drop!

Agree on the drop. But with SE suspension you may need new shocks as well to avoid failure in the long term. M Sport Bilsteins are OK as they are set up to be lower than SE's from stock.

Looks great, picture does not really do it justice though as the angle of the front wheel exaggerates the gap.

A drop would certainly finish it off nicely

You might find the ride better with slightly less pressure than stated on the pillar,I certainly do with the 452's.

Thanks for your comments the M6 wheels seem to get a mixed reaction. Agreed the photo does not give real justice and had just come of jacks the more time I spend with them the more I like. As said I just wanted to have something different for a while and try non run flats. What pressures are you running ?
