tire pressure warning light with aftermarket rims?

went from oem 16" to 18" a while back and was expecting the Tire pressure light to come up, but it didn't. Is it suppose to? Wondering if I should do a reset now.
I have a canadian car and without TPMS

thanks

Rolling diameter is the same then you would be ok.

It doesn't hurt to reset the system though.

the warning light will only come up should you have a flat. it not coming up is a good thing. after you switch wheels, it is recommended that you do a reset, just in case the system doesnt pick up on it.

I also went from OEM 16" to 18" 162. And the flat tire alert came after 1 day...the 162 comes with 32 PSI front and rear..so I fill back to 33 Front and 36 rear and do the reset..now is doing good.

You just needed a hard reset of the system. A change in a couple of PSI is not going to set it off.
