Did Quixx scratch remover just ruin my paintjob?

I got a 2006 325i Titanium Silver that got a scratch on it. I went and bought Quixx cause of all the hype. I started polishing the scratch area with the #1 tube and after a few minutes the paint started to turn into a glossy greyish color. Part of the scratch went away so I started to use the #2 tube. I though maybe it would just polish it out but the stain got even bigger. I emmediately stopped because it was just getting worse. So now I have this glossy unshiny area about the size of a streched quarter on the roof of my car. It almost looks like I rubbed sandpaper on there. Did I do something wrong? Do I just need to keep polishing it? If anybody has any advice that would help I would surely appreciate it.

Nothing to worry about, my cars JB and the same thing happen to me. The 2nd polish is rubbish. All you have to do is get some good wax, give the area were the mark is a good hand wax job and the mark will disappear. Actually when you use any scratch remover, you should always follow it up with a wax job.

I'll buy some good quality wax and try to shine it out and see what happens. Thanks
