M-Tech rear bumper install?

I only saw 1 DIY on this. I am thinking about changing my rear bumper but I was not sure if I can do it myself!

How many of u guys have done it yourself and if so how hard is it? Don't wanna break things....

Thank you....

It really is pretty easy if you have some basic skills - basically your remove a couple bolts in each wheel well (one is up near the top and hidden behind the wheel well liner, but easy to get out once you find it, and easier with the wheels off but not necessary.) Then you just take about 8 bolts out around the bottom side of the bumper, two up behind 2 removable plastic covers around the trunk opening. You have to take out the taillights, very easy, 2 nuts to take off on each side and then you release the plastic tabs you will see in the tail light opening. DIY was good, hardest part was figuring out how to release the tabs between the bumper and the fender and as it turns out it is very easy, you just pull each side of the bumper firmly towards the rear of the car and the tabs release and let go, then the bumper is off!

Putting the new one on is easier, you just put it on, press in on the sides to clip it back to the fender clips and bolt it up!

Once you have done it once, it is probably a 30 minute task, took me about an hour the first time just being careful not to break anything!

Just take your time with it, especially around the clips. They are the only real pain on this install..
