Hmm i went to the EAS website but couldn't find it..
http://www.europeanautosource.com/in...0fe77e2c22678c I found an alternative solution but involves installing another unit (Nav2Go) for ~500 bucks... Does anyone have the circuit/wiring diagram for the iDrive? I can put in a switch myself just need to figure out the connection between the parking break transmit to the head unit... Cheers, Wes |

Anthony has the correct part listed for MY09+ iDrive models. Feathres can also be activated/deactivated if the vehicle is loaned out or driven by someone else.

it works great....just use tom's link and associated wiring number and description and the module will perform as expected. for the 'can' bus wires, you may want to use different lugs/twists because the wires kept backing out of the ones shipped with the product

Just for your information, I tried another system that allows to unlock the tv (if you have a tv modul) with unmounting anything. It's a plug you put on the obd and you have to push a button to unlock the system. The supplier of this as also a version that allows to unlock the dvd while you are driving on 09 version.
I bought mine at www.diagsoft.de (http://www.diagsoft.de/page.php?page=produkt8) If you have any question, don't hesitate. |
