New 08 or 09 335i, what you pay???

I've been going back and forth on whether to get a new 335i or a used M3. I think I'd rather go 335i as I don't really need the performance of the M3. I would like to get a good deal however. What is a good price to negotiate for a 335i in AW, premium, sport, nav, comfort access as options. Thanks for the reply!

Honestly. Who NEEDS the performance of an M3? As for the price for an E92 (or any BMW for that matter), you'd be best served to first and see what other people have been paying. There are countless threads where forum members have shared their pricing. To answer your question more directly, I would use the car price configurator on www.edmunds.com to figure out the invoice price of the car you want with all the options. Most people are negotiating deals at $500 over invoice. There are exceptions with people getting deals below invoice, but usually that's on cars that have been sitting for a while or they are executive demos. I ordered my car to my spec (still waiting for it), and the price I negotiated was $100 over invoice.

Hope that helps.

I test drove a new M3 I was thinking of trading my 335i in for. Sadly, I wasn't that impressed until I figured out how to drive it. Gotta get the RPM's up, then it goes goes like hell. I ordered one.
