BMW e90 320 M sport - Value for Money??

Hi People,

My first post here. I've just put a deposit down on a fully loaded (options) 07 320d M sport. I've been looking for one for a long long time but never found the right one or when I did it just wasn't the right time.

The spec are follows, but what I'm keen to know is do any of you think its a good deal?

BMW 320d E90 Auto M Sport
Black Sapphire
Black Dakota Leathers
18" M Wheels
Electric Ext Mirrors
Elec Front Seats + Driver Memory
Prof Sat Nav
Logic7 HiFi
Xenons
High-Beam Assist
Adaptive Headlights
Voice Control
SA3 Pricing Rule for 620 Voice??
Bluetooth Prep
Headlight Wash
Arm Rest Sliding
Sun Protection Glass

It is in Excellent condition with Full BMW Service History with 40k on the clock.

I got it for 18k...What do you think?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

A.

Sounds a little expensive to me. Good spec tho.

Retail value for the car (without options) is £ 17,700

http://www.virtual-showroom.co.uk/sc...C07&mileage=40

Given the optional extras on that car I reckon £ 18k is just fine.

Could have bought cheaper, but frankly on a car like that 40k miles is nearly new.

Enjoy.

Brilliant spec there mate. Don't worry too much about the cost (although according to NFS you've done well), as long as you can comfortably afford it, you've got yourself a great car. No worries with the mileage as long as it's been looked after (which it has) and as long as you look after it too; it'll go easily past 100k if needed.

Welcome to the forum .

Thanks guys for the feedback. Oh and it also has Comfort Access & Rain Sensors with auto headlighting.

I've been searching for the right spec for a long time...especially on a 320 these specs are rare.

In terms of pricing the options on the car are worth 10k, I would not have paid anymore than 16-17k for a standard spec in excellent condition.

It is a great car and the drive is amazing. I would have gone for a 330d but the lady in my life has got to drive it and she just passed her test 8 months ago!

The car is de-badged with a twin exhaust tip.

I will post the Pics when I get it.

You were very lucky indeed to find a 320D M-Sport with that spec. A new car must be in the region of £35/36K.
I have a new for delivery Sept and my test drive too was very impressive. The only car that came close was a Jag XF.
Wish you all the best!
cheers!

The specs look alike to my 330... very nice!
Does it have the 177 bhp or the 163 bhp engine?

I'd imagine the 163.

Only downer is an auto with a 320D which you may find a bit slow, depends what you used to.

But give it the Evolve treatment and it'd be a different animal I reckon!

I do think it is 163bhp...although it was advertised as 177bhp. Do any of you know if any 07's came in 177bhp without the efficiency dynamics?

Are auto really noticeably slow? I am a manual driver and would have prefered it but hey with these specs I dont mind.

Evolve are not far from where I live...so maybe later when I feel the need for some extra boost I'll give them a shout.

Mate there should be no 'maybe' about it - get it done asap ! However I suppose it depends on what your previous car was when deciding if 163 BHP will be slow. Lovely spec though buddy - enjoy !

I came across this thread the other day too. I think someone commented which made this go to the top, realised about the price and the year and then deleted the comment.

Quite interesting reading the price and year though!
