19x9, can I run 275/30/19?

I'm thinking of switching from my BBS CH's and the rears are 19x9.5....
Shouldn't look too funky, right?

you can put a 275/30 tire on a 9" rim, but the tire will be wider than the rim making it look a little funny

Agreed. I would stick to a 265/30 and would only switch to a 275/30 if I stepped up to a 10" width. Personally I'm going with 265/30 on my 19x10 rears and then adding a 15mm spacer to get the extra width. I prefer to have stretched look to the hang-over tire lip. I think we will both have to roll the rear fenders as well with a 265-275 stance.

Its within the recommended rim width range, and personally I don't think it looks bad, but you may want to search for some pics first to be sure you don't mind the look.

Do you mean you've got 275/30/19 on your 19x9.5 CH wheels now, and want to change to some other 9" wide wheels and put the same 275 tires on the them.

I agree. We've done a handful of 275's on our 9" wide V714's and they didn't look too bad IMO.
