cops says hes going to mail me a ticket?

so i was driving a little aggressive not going to deny it so i get pulled over by an under cover the guy bitches me out then tells me he does not have an tickets left so hes going to mail me the ticket. He didnt tell me how fast i was going or how much the ticket would be he gave me zero information. do you think hes really going to mail me a ticket or was he just trying to scare me. he told me i have a serious problem with my record wooopps!

Was it an actual town/city/state cop who was on-duty? I'd say it's 50/50 too, depends on how much he remembers you on Monday.

it was on the highway i dont even remember where it was just out of nh heading toward boston, the cop was in an unmarked car didnt have a uniform on and he was wackie tackie someone. the piece of shit didnt even tell me how fast i was going

Don't think you'll be getting a ticket in the mail.
If you're ever been lucky enough to get a ticket in the passed, you may recall they make you sign for the ticket. Just to state that it is you and you received this ticket!
Not to admit guilt or anything but just proof of reception.
Without that signiture they have nothing. So just say, wasn't me.

I'd check with a lawyer, but I doubt they can do that as there is technically no way to prove it was you - his word against yours, especially since he didn't notify you of your offence. And I would imagine writing/signing a ticket the day after or when he gets home would not be considered reasonable practice and the ticket would be void.

I'd be suprised if he was even a traffic cop.

Yeah, I don't think they do this. The only chance of you getting out of a ticket in similar fashion is if the cop spelled your name wrong on the ticket.

-There's no way for him to be judging ur speed based on what? his eyes?
-U can say that u dont know what this ticket is about and u werent even in this area at this time
-most likely, ull probably not be getting the ticket and he did that just to scare u cuz u probably blew by him and cut him off
