Hey,

I 'm having some slight issues with one of my Dinan Mufflers coming loose every couple months. I think the Idiot cut the pipe a little too much and it comes off the clamp... SOOOOOO

My car is really quiet, and would love a few move decibels when I feel like it. I know a lot of cars who have a "dump pipe", (r32, vette etc.)with a flick of the button, remote the butterfly valves open to make it more aggresive.

Anyone do this or know what I need to get, estimate cost etc?

If you're having problems with the pipes slipping out of the clamp you should just bring it back the place that installed or see another installer to fix it. If the problem really is the pipe is cut too short, a cheap fix that might work would be drill a small hole through the clamp and pipe and use a small (stainless) self-tapping screw(s) to keep them from sliding apart (assuming they overlap at present).

Or you could just have them weld on a "sleeve" made from some steel pipe weld that on as an extension to the Car side...seems like that would only take 60 mins tops at any good exhaust shop.
