Rob, I think it will rub, but not like crazy. I would only go down to +25. I know 3mm doesn't sound like alot but on the passenger side rear wheel well(I think), there is slightly less space than the other side and that is where the 3mm will make a difference.

BTW, Prey tell your plans?

Danny

How so? I am not rubbing with 19x10 et20. It's all about fender roll and tire setup.

No doubt, fender roll and smaller tires, but I assume Rob doesn't want to roll fenders and depending on tire brand, his 265's may/may not rub. So all I was saying is if Rob doesn't want to roll fenders, he will rub. Tyler was saying they will fit fine...not without some modding, that's all.

i haven't taken a good look at the rear fenders, but fender rolling could be a possibility. i've rolled fenders on past cars. if i roll the fenders on the e90, i'll probably take it some where to get it done.

if you roll the fenders, and have two rear passengers in the rear and/or luggage in the trunk, will it rub?

Roll them and go with a Falken or Toyo tire 265/30/19. You will be fine.

Ryan, if your car is loaded down with people and/or gear, does it rub on big bumps/dips?

I have my struts set at a very stiff setting, and the camber is set at -2. Honestly the heaviest person I have had in the back of my car has been about 140lbs lol.

i have that offset on 19x9.5, OEM sport, and toyo's 265/30/19 with no fender rolling. not rubbing right now. if u do the H&R u might rub a little, but i think you might get away with it if u get the eibach pro-kit or use a 255/30 tire.

i'm gonna try the eibach's once i install my kit. hopefully i wont rub....

Or you can do the mallet technique and carefully take in the fender lip near the end bumper, then it shouldn't rub. Ksfrogman and Marcus did that and they both have H&R sport and no rubbing. Ksfrogman is running 19X10 26mm offset with 265 Toyo and according to him 2 people in the back with cargo and still no rub

Rob, I recommend to go for at least 25mm. 22mm will make your car look aggressive, but ugly because it sticks out too much. Sometimes aggressive look has to be done from both front and rear, and I personally think it looks weird with the front stock offset and the rear with very aggressive offset.
For me, I'll only get with 35mm (maybe 38mm) front/30mm rear on 8.5"/9.5".

I don't really understand your statement. If you get wheels that don't have an aggressive front but have an aggressive rear you can just get some 5 or 10mm spacers to push them out a bit.

You said it looks ugly when wheels stick out too much. What do your mean? Are you saying you think wheels that are flush with the fenders look ugly? If so I think you are the only one. If you are saying you don't think it looks good when wheels are sticking out past the fender I agree with you however 19x9.5 et22 will have room to spare. Plenty of people here are running more aggressive offsets then that and they are fine.

Ryan, what Jimmy was saying is when the rims go past the fenders, not flush. He had 9.5, +22's and when I saw his car in person, they did look a bit odd, they came out past the fenders slightly. Maybe because he wasn't lowered, but he couldn't go lower, he was already rubbing.

Danny

Thank you very much, Danny.
Diesel, those folks in NorCal have seen mine before and they knew how these looked. That's why I finally gave LongTran these two rear rims and ordered other 2 with 39mm offset from tirerack. Wheels flush fender always look good to me. I saw them on LongTran's and NatureBoy's cars, and I like them. wheels sticking out pass the fenders make the car look worse imo.

Your wheels extended out more then this? Because this is more aggressive then what you were running and it looks pretty flush to me. Maybe Danny was right your car needed to be lowered more.
