1. Front is unbelievably sexy.

I have seen both E class sedan and the coupe in person. I must say it is truly a good looking car. Saw the coupe in black and the sedan in white both the e550 and with the AMG body package. Rear lights are a bit too big but I dont mind.

i like the rear more than the front. especially on this e-coupe i saw with the amg package.

i have no problem with the taillights. the detailing is sweet, so i don't care about the shape that much. the swollen rear pontoon-esque fender doesn't stand out as much as i thought it would.

im starting to like mercedes a lot more now. although their designs are harder to accept than BMWs imo

The E Coupe looks really slick. I still don't like the crease down the middle from the trunk...it reminds me of Caddy.

I've been impressed with the exterior designs of recent Benz models, but the interiors of the C-class have left me wanting less acres of Pontiac plastic, and IIRC the interior of the new E-Class Coupe shares similar attributes.

I have not seen yet in real life, but I love the new styling of the e-class sedan. It retains its classy look, while also being much more masculine and powerful, especially with the new square lights. I don't know about all the technology they've added into it tho like the driver awake alerts. Seems like a bit of unecessary over-engineering...

Sorry, I forgot to mention how the E Class coupe had a good rear section and they should have transfered that to the sedan.

but WOW, I like the look of the coupe more than a Ferrari :P

I had a chance to see/drive the new E class sedan and coupe. While I love the coupe's rear, the sedans look weird in a way but I think it still looks better than the older model.
They didn't have any E550 coupe so I could only drive E320. It sure feels slow compare to my M3 but it still nice cruiser. Can't wait for the AMG coupe.

I like the sedan except for the taillights. Like the OP stated they look like camry lights. My neighbor just got a black on black e550 sedan sport and it looks great. However i don't like the coupe at all, and i always like coupes more than sedans with any car. The coupe appears wayyy to long from the side. I think it is due to the weird back windows that look as if they came directly off the sedan. This makes the car from the side look as if its a sedan missing the back doors, which i find looks very odd, and not traditionaly how a coupe looks.

^ Something like that. I saw a 550 coupe this weekend. Some lines look good while the profile, my lousy opinion only, just does not cut it for me. Way too...uh..civilized...no...uh...feminine. There I said it.

Apparently there will be no AMG E-Class coupe. Instead there's supposed to be a Black Series E Class coming.

The new E-Class E63 AMG sounds nice with little farts between shifts.
