Rides real nice -- but obviously I need some time to give it a true evaluation.
Opinions on the height? (42yr old father of 3) |

It is a super high mileage car with the colors and options that I was looking for and in my budget -- also I like accelerating through corners and love the all wheel drive.

i love V1 too...the ride is surprisingly amazing compared to my past experiences with coilovers...
I think the rear height is pretty good, but you probably want to lower the front more so you get a more even look |

i would say the front is perfect. the rear looks a little low relative to the front and could come up just a bit

With V1s can you adjust the rake? i.e. raise and lower the rear independantly of the front without any problems? I am on the fence if I want to do this, but I like it b/c I would want the back end a decent amount higher then the front, if it works... thoughts??

KW V1
I am thinking of going with V1. How does the ride compare with stock?
After owning a 335xi sedan for six month I would like something with more control of body roll. I guess I am looking for the closest feeling to the 335i sport suspension. Is the V1 the way to go or should I put in V3? By the way is the ride height adjustable after the install or does it need to be preset before install? |

Car looks great...perfect drop. I'm new to the whole BMW scene just got E92 xi. I had been into VW's for a long time now...but I'm on to BMW's now.
Anyway all my VW's could never be brought threw the car wash when they were on coilovers, front lip, oil pan, etc... all got in the way. Does anyone have this problem with their BMW's? Last edited by steveL77; 01-20-2010 at 10:34 PM.. Reason: text placement |
