Recommendations: Front bumper scratches
I've ripped up my front under bumper pretty bad this weekend over a curb. Nothing sounds as bad as you hear that grinding sound as the under part of your front bumper's paint is ripped to shreds. It's taken off several layers of paint and primer. The plastic is exposed but all the damage is not clearly visible unless you look under the bumper.
While it isn't obviously visible, does anyone have any recommendations or should I just leave it as is? Anything I can do to decrease any more paint loss? Is touch up paint recommended in this situation? |

If its under, I would just leave it as is. Its plastic, so it wont rust.

Unfortunately, the area is probably too large for touch-up paint to help. No rust should develop there, the bumper is plastic.
Can you get us a good picture or two? It's always easier to provide advice on this sort of thing with a visual. ![]()
