Guaging Interest: Ultimate Racing Catback Exhaust with Dimisa 4 inch tips

Just wondering if anyone was interested in this exhaust. It is made by Ultimate Racing, who also makes DPs for our cars. The exhaust replaces section 1, 2, and 3... basically, from the downpipe back. The tips that came with it were too thick for my liking, so I replaced them with Dimisa 4 inch tips. If you are interested, post in this thread or PM me. I am looking for $750 firm, picked up. The exhaust is already off the car. Thanks.

Any droning when used with catless Dps? Also, is it the UR that uses a Magnaflow can?

I've never had catless DPs, so I can't tell you if it drones or not with that setup. I had UR catted DPs, and there was a little bit of drone at around 2000-2300rpm when under load. I never spent much time around those rpms, so it didn't really bother me much.

Yes, all UR exhausts use Magnaflow mufflers.

So after talking to a forum member, I'm not certain if this exhaust will fit the coupe. I was under the assumption that for 335i exhausts, only the tip lengths are different. When I had the dimisa tips installed on the UR exhaust, I asked the shop to make them stick out a little more because I liked that look. So, to sweeten the deal, I'm going to offer a return policy if you are concerned about fitment and/or sound.

The exhaust will be sold with a two week return policy. If the exhaust does not fit or if the sound is not to your liking, you can return the exhaust to me for a full refund of the purchase price, providing the exhaust is in the condition that you received it in. Pictures will be taken of the exhaust at the time of sale to record condition. Transaction must be local to take advantage of this policy.

Price remains at $750 cash, firm. Add 4% if paying by paypal.

i have a coupe

, exhaust is one of the best sounding ones out there, i heard it next to the agency power exhaust yesterday, and you don't want to hear my comments on the AP exhaust compared to magnaflow..

I don't really understand why the piping would be different at all. From all the threads I've read, especially about the CPE exhaust, only the tip lengths are different. And even the tips on my exhaust were lengthened a bit, so I think it should fit the coupe fine. That's why I'm offering the 2 week return policy!

I appreciate the positive comments about the UR exhaust! It really is a nice sounding piece!
