Derek Zoolander is in the buildin', it's goin' down

Hey everyone. I am a proud, new owner of a 2009 328i xDrive 6MT sedan.
Black Sapphire Metallic
Black Dakota Leather
Burl Walnut Trim
M Sport Package (I'm worried about the 17" Type 194Ms with performance tires in winter!)
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
iPod/USB Interface

I'm not new to the world of German cars or modding. I come from the land of Volkswagen and the associated shenanigans that come with being an enthusiast.
My previous personally built dub: 2001 GTI 1.8T

I'm a fan of OEM+ Euro styling but like to throw in my own personal taste. Low, wide, clean.

I'm looking forward to spending some time here

-Rob

Yep, MAE 2-piece. Just sold them along with 95% of my other mods. Getting rid of the GTI this week/weekend.

I was one of the few back in the day that loved the MAE rims...mine were monoblock ones...

Here are the rims after I painted it gloss black...not too shabby for a DIYer.

Thanks for the replies.
The MAEs were dope, but I'm going to go a different route when I look for rollers for the e90.

Will I get through 1 winter in Nashua with the performance tires?

The OEM "mixed performance" tires that come on the car with ZSP? Maybe. They're not all-out performance tires (which are horrible even on dry surfaces when the temperature is under 40).

I'm going to try them this year and see what happens. I run performance tires on my "summer" wheels (pictured below) so those will be coming off when the temperature starts to drop. I have an '09 F350 too, so the E90 won't see blizzards.

It's worth trying, especially if you're looking for new wheels/tires at some point. Then again, you may be better off buying a set of snows and using those on the OEM wheels for winter use. Maybe you can sell the OEM tires here while they're newish and make some money back.

That's my plan anyway.

Yeah, ideally I would have my OEM wheels with all-seasons or winters and get a set of rollers for summer, but I won't be getting wheels before I get coilovers which will be a while.
Did you go to Penn State (jopa) by any chance? My car is going to be nearly identical to yours (except black sapphire and wheels)!

Another oldie of it:

I'm debating throwing the dice in the e90 or auctioning them off
Dude, I'm having trouble GIVING the car away. It's ridiculous. If I don't sell it this week, the dealer is giving me $4k for trade in. I can't even get rid of it for $4500-5k. People are so damn cheap and dumb.
Thanks guys.

How many miles? Did you post it on Craigslist? If so, can you send me the link?

Sold the GTI last night. I thought about keeping it for winter and getting a 135i or something RWD, but I don't want the insurance and maintenance on 2 cars. Not to mention it's a piece of shit and will need >$1k worth of maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. within a year. I didn't want to keep sinking more and more into it.
