I just got my X5d, and want to get it tinted. As X5 board being very passive, I thought you guys would advise me better. Please let me know your experience with Ceramic. I currently have Carbon based tint in my 335 e90, and haven't had any problems, but i hear that Ceramic might have some ghosting problems, whatever that is.
Thanks |

Yah, when I was getting my tint done the guy told me that ceramic might fade over time...like 4-5 years. But since he liked my car so much he gave me the carbon one for the exact same price without bargaining hahaha

Ceramic is the shit. Huper Optiks is where its at. Couldnt be happier with them. No ghosting, no fading, nothing. Plus the films are all warrantied. Ceramic also has the best heat reduction at the higher VLT percentages.

Aren't the rear windows on the x5 tinted already? If they are I would just have the fronts done to match the rears.
