Black with Competition Grey wheels. NICE!

Tell him to get the Callaway Honker Intake, Callway Shifter and the Corsa Exhaust.
Once he puts them on, you won't have to ask why.

Also, lower the car! It looks stupid riding so high. The stock suspension is completely adjustable and you can lower the car very easily.

Yea, he knows. He's already a corvette expert. Had an 08 C6 Z51 modded to 500 whp NA, wheels, etc. Paint truck hit him about 3 months ago and totaled it. He thought about getting another one and doing it all over, but the Z06 was a good deal and a much better starting point. They really are ridiculous and feel even faster than they are. First car I've really ever hammered on and thought it had enough power to keep me happy for a while.

I'd also buy a used 997TT before I got a ZR1, not that they aren't very incredible cars.
