SWI-CAN2 Help?!
Has anyone actually installed this and got it to work? I put it in yesterday, wired it to the CAN+ and CAN-...and all the wires it says to hook up. Got the LED on the SWI-JACK to light up...but when I go through the programming for the SWC, nothing. The LED goes out but doesn't come back on until 7 secs and it says it's done programming, but nothing is programmed.
Please help....I searched the forums, but no one has and actual install on it. Maybe something is wrong in the directions? It's getting hooked up to a JVC AVX77, which is already installed and fully functional....I just want the SWC too, I'm greedy. |

You can't get a true constant from the stereo wiring harness. You need to pull it from the battery. So any programming you do is getting wiped clean every time you turn off the car.

I've had the stereo installed for 2 weeks now. I'm not having a problem with the stereo...it functions and retains all presets just fine. I'm having a problem with the SWI-Jack not receiving the signal from the Steering Wheel. |

You keep mentioning the SWI-JACK but not the SWI-CAN2. You have both correct? If so, are you sure dont have the CANbus wires mixed up? The rotary switch is set to 0?
