Completely different animal. The 370s are fast but they are also much more a purpose built sports car. They are louder, harsher with far less amenities and such. That being said they handle better. It all would really depend on your priorities, do you want a sports car? or do you want a fast sporty luxury car?

For a little more scratch you might look at an S4. The 370Z's trunk room is also minimal it should be noted.

Perhaps the new Camaro 1SS?

if you plan on track time or hard street driving the 370z has problems with oil temps going to high very fast and they don't have an oil cooler as of yet, but supossedly should have one out nest year.
I wanted a C6 before i drove the 335i, but the wife said no on the c6. I will wait a couple of years until GTR's start showing up used and that is what I'm getting. My buddy sold his 08 zo6 for 2010 gtr and it is a beast!!!

Change it up. Search swapalease or leasetrader for some deals.

Look at the new S4, if you want a new car.

I heard there are some crazy lease deals on the new Z4.

I'm voting for getting a 335i again or a USed M3!

+1....that's what I did. Went from black to white with msport and tan interior. Then again I went from a 325 to a 335 which is dramatic powerwise but still same body nonetheless.

OP have you thought about buying out your current 335? You have a good amount of work done to it, and you might be able to save a lot of $. There are plenty here including myself who got a good $5k + off their buyout. BMW would much rather sell you your car than turn around and market it. Just a thought...
