lungs and throat hurt really bad after inhaling too much weed at once. HALP

I accidentally smoked weed like I would smoke a cigarette tonight and i inhaled way too much air+weed( i let go of the lil hole in the bong and continued to inhale). and I coughed for a good 3-5 minutes after that my lungs and throat continued to burn and hurt. Was any damage done to the lungs? I dont want to talk to the advice nurse b/c they keep it on records. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

unless youre coughing blood or something like that, you seem fine. sounds to me like you just took a fat hit and couldnt handle it.

no worries. next time your smoking, have a cold gatorade on hand. it releives the pain of coughing on your throat. you can cough all you want, your throat can handle it unless your seeing or tasting blood. do not be worried at all, you are ok. if your chest still hurts smell some vicks vapo rub and dab a bit on your chest. I would go with a heavy flavoured gatorade also, not the "rain" series. Its also key in battling kottonmouth.

*disclaimer* gatorade is a sports drink and is made to be consumed when doing sports. use sparingly when smoking or not participating in athletic activites.

I'm also pretty sure that you can't get in trouble for smoking weed "a few days ago". Now, If you've got a joint lit up while you are talking to the nurse, that's a different story. Haha...

Also, there is a doctor/patient relationship. I doubt anyone is going to risk their medical license/job to rat you out. Weed smoking (especially in Cali) is so accepted, the doctor and nurse were probably toking last night.

Get some chloroseptic spray.. you'll be good.
