BMWCCA Concours & Show and Shine

Anyone plan on going this weekend? It's this Sunday morning in Shrewsbury at Wagner BMW. Anything from bone stock to highly modified is welcome.

I'm just going to do the Show and Shine with the E90 this time. I can't stay all day, but will be there for most of the morning to see what's up and take some pictures.

I would but won't be around this weekend. I bought my car there, they have a nice dealership. Probably a pretty good place for a show.

Stop by the registration tent and say hi. I'm one of the two Concours Directors. I'll have my M3 sedan there...dunno what class, though. It all depends on how much detailing I can do on Saturday.

If you're interested in helping out (including judging), either PM me here, or stop by on Sunday.

TTT.

Nobody else is planning on going? Sunday's going to be an improvement weather-wise.

Didn't know this was going on. Bit of a hike for me. I'll try to make it in the AM.

Come say hello -- I'll be wearing a "STAFF" t-shirt, and will be near registration most of the time. I managed to get the M3 cleaned up, so it'll be in the Show & Shine area.

FYI, weather report is for the rain to end in the area at 6 AM, so that's plenty of time to clean up before "rags down" and judging begins for those that will be competing.

I drove all over the place in the rain Friday, so will need to do some cleanup in the morning. Then I'll head off.

It was a smaller turnout than usual, but there were some great cars.

The sky cleared up around 9 AM. I think my car was the only e9x M3 there, but there was at least one each E46 and E36 M3s. There was an M1, plus an M2. Never heard of an M2? I hadn't either -- the guy took a 2002, stuffed an M3 motor (not sure which one) under the hood, and I think put an E30 suspension under it. The car is Inka Orange, and the reconditioning was JUST completed. The car was amazing -- right down to the custom ///M2 mats! (I took lots of pictures; hopefully, they'll show up on the Boston Chapter web site, and in Bimmer, the Chapter's magazine.)

We also had an Alpina coupe that had been imported, a few MINIs. Overall, it was a pretty impressive array of cars!
