Dang...

Sorry I have to add my voice to the chorus. Test drove the 335 automatic and manual.

Strangely, the automatic sounded more aggressive than the stick. Also since it's been a while since I drove a stick, it wasn't very smooth for me.

Anyways, the bottom line is that the beast is a frigging rocket. I think the automatic really lets one feel the power under the hood since you can hone your tactile senses on the perception of acceleration rather than concentrate on changing gears ets.

I clearly felt the turbo lag on the automatic. After around 4k the thing literally takes off and you find yourself looking for road. Despite the so called turbo lag, I really enjoyed the feel of the turbo kicking in.

If I could take the hit on my E90 I'd jump for it, but it's a little too much for me to swallow right now, so I'll probably wait. To everyone getting a 335, enjoy!

I just test drove one yesterday as well and all I have to say is, damn. That is one hell of a car. I will be placing my order for an E90 335 soon.

Observations: The coupe is much much better looking in person. The red leather is not. Sport seats are some of the best I have ever sat in. MT shifting is very nice: short and slightly notchy. Just the way I like it. Brakes are bit too sensitive. I would prefer some pedal modulation.

I would really agree about the red.

I saw it with the Space Gray, but I thought it looked terrible.

Yep. the car I drove was space grey, red leather, grey popular. I don't like the grey wood either. it with black and red on the inside just looked off.
