suspension warranty

hi i have a 08 335i e90 with a H&R race drop...everytime i turn my wheels i hear a clunking noise.my friend is a tech and he said it my rack&pinion..will the warranty cover it?

The dealer most likely will not cover this as the suspension has been modified. You could turn it to stock and bring it back into warranty.

He wouldn't do that because that would be warranty fraud.

There is a good chance that his modification caused the failure and, because you have to pay to play, he should be responsible for the repair.

There is also the chance that his noise will go away once it is returned to stock meaning that he'll need no repair.
