ANyone know how to remove TPMS sensor?

I just picked up a set of Alufelgen CS7 from fotios335i but there's no TPMS as his E90 does not require them. So I did a search and found this DIY (below link) but it doesn't explain much. Does anybody know how to remove the rubber valve stem from the wheels? Please let me know.
