Good Service in MA?
my car is coming up on it's first service (10k) and im looking for a GOOD dealer to take it too. i'm south of boston but don't mind driving so the closest dealer isn't a priority. I've been reading and i think im staying away from HC so they are out. I've been over to norwell with my friends car and wasn't too impressed with them. From what I've read Peabody sounds like the place but i'm still open to suggestions. Can anyone recommend a CA that actually knows these cars that can answer questions and is not just a key bang'r?...thanks

Drove 50+ miles to buy my car at BMW of Peabody. They are truly the best! Jamie McCoy was my CA and he was unbelievable. If you go there and need a CA, ask for him and tell him that Adam Paralta recommended him.
Additionally, I've had some things done at Wagner BMW of Shrewsbury and they're good too. |

No issues with BMW of Peabody for me. Never had them do a major repair, so can't comment on how they handle that. But for regular service visits (and the very minor stuff that goes along with them), I have no complaints.
The quality of service seems to vary based on your relationship with the dealer though. I've been dealing with Peabody (over a number of cars - probably too many ) since about 2002. Everything from an E46 to 750i and X5. Same SA and CA since.

BMW of Peabody is good. Alex Dytko and Tom Shanahan have always treated my family with respect. Service has been great. They know their stuff. We've owned a 330ci, 328i, X5, X6, and a 335i. No problems whatsoever.

If you are south of Boston, I've had pretty good luck with the BMW Gallery on route 1 in Norwood.. right when you pull up two guys with white gloves come and take your car into the service area.. They have no issues with giving out loaner cars.. So far I've gotten a 328xi and a 5-series loaner..
I even know one of the mechanics that work there and they seem to be mod friendly. --mike |

Another vote for BMW of Peabody here. They're very good and they have new huge facilities. On Centennial Ave you actually just pull up to the door, it opens, and you drive right in so if it's raining you don't even get wet. If you need a loaner car you should call ahead for your appt and ask when they'll have one available for you. They drive that right inside for you too.

+1 for BMW of Peabody service. The Centennial Drive location is fantastic. My SA is top notch and great to work with. I live in Cambridge and it's worth the trip.

I also head to Norwood BMW. I've had great service for my first visit.

They'll ask you to drop the car off in the morning and keep it for most of the day. You will have an almost-brand-new BMW loaner if your schedule the appointment, so no problem really. Usually you can pick the car up same-day (late afternoon), but sometimes it will get pushed to the next day. Depends on how much stuff they need to do (or you asked them to do).
