Service Engine Soon Warning
Last night I started my car with the air intake removed and backed it up a foot or so to give myself more room to work and I got a "Service Engine Soon" warning light. I reconnected everything and drove it around town today but the warning light will not turn off. Is there a way to reset the warning light or do I need to take it to the dealer? I've searched a few topics already but there's no clear answer as to what action(s) to take.
Thanks in advance. |

Hey, I solved my problem. I just went out and disconnected the MAF sensor attached to the cold air intake, waited 10 seconds, reconnected it and VIOLA, the engine light went off. I hope this serves to help anybody that may have this issue in the future.
