better options soon?
just out of speculation, it seems that alot of the modifications are made to be taken out easily to preserve warranties. all i am thinking is how its going to be once many people have passed the warranty phase and want turbo upgrades, better mods (including an intake that goes all the way replacing the plastic piping etc.. do you guys thing we would see more of that soon?

Yes and no. IMO also current mods are not removable without noticeable efforts for de- and re-installing. But turbo-upgrades and intake piping would be a nightmare to remove and so i guess they are typical post-warranty mods.
What would keep me apart from an already existing OEM turbo modification which adds 45hp for $2500 without the need of a special ECU software ? Nothing - except warranty issues. Cheers, Eugen |
