uneven wear on tires
Can I put a tire with 7/8 tread on one side of the rear and a tire with 4/8 on the other side of the rear? Will this cause any problems to the car? Any alignment issues?
I know its recommended to switch a pair of tires evenly but wondering if I just switch out the rear tires with uneven ones, if this will cause problems. |

I wouldn't recommend for long term. Your car may start pulling to one side because of the uneven tires. But overall, it'll work if you're in a pinch. There shouldn't be any MAJOR problems with running unevenly worn tires.

your car may pull to one side, and the tires will always wear that way no matter your alignment since theyve already developed a wear pattern in the past
