M3 Style Lip Spoiler
What a mine field trying to find a good quality trunk lip spoiler which is the same as the e92 m3
BMW aus wants $446 not painted and BMWUSA is $200 but bmw have stopped international shipping there are so many m3 after market ones to sink a battleship painted mainly from $30 to $400 and shipping ranges from $18 to $250us and many company's don't do lee mans blue. The oem spoiler is about $650 painted which i think is to dear. After searching for days on the Internet looking at hundreds of them ABS FIBREGLASS AND PU FLEXIBLE I ordered one painted in black is a pu flexible same as oem and will get it repainted by a bmw repairer here as E92 LIGHTING can't paint lee mans blue, which i have bought stuff before have been excellent and cheap shipping the guys are on usa bmw forums all the time. Works out to be painted here $270aus which i think is pretty good. Hope the quality is very good as you can only see photos. Anybody else put lip spoilers on there cars.

Hi Chappy,
Yep I have a OEM M3 spoiler on my E92 - I went OEM because at the time (Feb 2008), IMO there weren't any good aftermarket ones... and I figured I just spent $135K on a car... what's another $650. Cheers Matt

there was a group buy about a year go from one of the forum sellers (you might have to do a search)
myself and vgr02 bought from them... vgr02's car at the time was also a le mans blue E90 and so he purchased the spoiler primed and just brought it to his local workshop to get it painted. good luck |

AMBERZOMBIE is correct. We purchased from M-Force design. Have a look for them in the SPONSORS - Classifield section on the forum. The guys are based in the USA but the spoiler shipps from Taiwan directly to you. At the time they wouldn't paint me up a Le Mans Blue spoiler as that was not a colour they knew in the states but they might do that now since it's a standard colour in the States now.
Brisbane BMW body shop wanted $180 to paint it up which I thought was a bit over the top. I went to another body shop who quoted $60 but said they prefered a bottle of scotch. The job was perfect. I ordered another spoiler for my new car from M-Force as well and it arrived about a week after I ordered it, painted and ready to install. Again, the quality of product and paint was perfect and it cost A$200 delivered to my door via FedEx. Can highly reccommend M-Force as a vendor. |
