After getting a 128i as a loaner today i found out two things

1: The exhaust for some reason sounds much better than my 335?

2: The engine is actually pretty nice, i don't know why but it feels sooo smooth

Thats all for now, still hate the a few other things but in all its not that bad.

The main reason for what you are noticing is that you are comparing an NA car to a turbo car.
IMO, a sound of a NA exhaust sounds much better than a turbo.
The NA is going to be a little smoother as well.
