What car to get for around $400 a month

So my lease is about the end I wanna take the smart route and not spend too much on a car. That said, I don't want a POS that is gonna make me mad every time I drive it. So im looking to get something in the range of $350 - $400 a month. It can be a lease or finance for a used car. Any advice? And please no cars that have ridiculous maintenance costs.

thanks

You could get a Ferrari for $400/mo if you put enough down up front. The answer is also very different if it's 400/mo for 12-months vs 24-months, 36-months or if you're bonkers, 72-months.

All the options you gave him fucking suck...

For $20,000 (with the average interest rate applied and no money down is $400.00 per month)

C5 Corvette FRC or even a C5 zO6:

or one of these:

EVO VIII:

04-05 WRX/STi:

Honda s2000:

Trailblazer SS:

None of these cars are slower than a 14.0 second quarter mile with the fastest being around a high 12 second stock. They can be had well under $20,000 or you can spend all $20,000 for a better example. They are all reliable and reasonable to maintain and most of all a HOOT to drive.

*disclaimer* Anyone who posts some "that's rice" this or "that interior sucks" that is admitting with that post, that they are ignorant and their opinions should be ignored.

S2000 is a great car. My ex had an STI and while it was very fast, I didn't like it very much... no ignorance, just opinion and experience. Z06 is a great car having seen several at the track but there's always that stigma.
