Halogen to Xenons -- Is it worthit!!!

I converted my halogen to euro xenons about a month ago with FRANKQ. and I also have MTEC xenon foglamps. First left light wouldn't stayon. It would come on then go out after few seconds and we had no idea whats going on. Magically it started working next day. It would stay on and ofcourse with the error message. I was using my foglamps with no error message whatsoever.

Today when it was 45 degrees outside at 4.30 in the morning I went and started my car. Like always error message (left lowbeam malfunction! -- right lowbeam malfunction!)

then after few seconds (right front foglamp malfunction!) this happend for the first time. I stopped and cheked only right side xenon was working both fogs r working ...i drove further and I get this message (ligthing malfunction..stop the car) I went inside control message and it stated check all the turn signal and continue journey.

I went to work came back and started the car in underground garage now both xenons wouldn't work and when I turn them the parking and angel eyes flicker & stays on.. but still no xenons....

With all this now I m thinking is it all worthit??? I called the BMW and asked them if they have some kindaa retrofit kit that I can get it converted and let dealership do it so I can get rid of error message. but no luck they said nothing like that exist.

All of u who has done it....I am grounding both wires under one screw in the chasis..is that wrong???

I am thiinking if I cannot figure out a way to solve the problem I will go back to my halogens....my bad.

If anyone out there knows anything about it can u please tell me what is wrong I followed the DIY on the site. The only thing I did diff. is added the ground wires to one of the screws in the chasis which was getting a good ground connection instead of that black box.

ADHD | Diesel007 | 96vette...need u r suggestions bro....

sorry to hear...your post really made me feel good that I did not go with the bandwagon. Another thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was what happen when I sell my car with all this error/exception message on the display. Yeah, some say when you sell car, put the old light back (it was too much work for me). GL with getting it resolved.

I think for us regular xenon owners, the euro ones are just a simple plug and play no? way less complicated than from halogen to xenon swap

ok see this pic!! this pic is the passenger side of my car! follow the green/brown wire up the ground box and unscrew the bolt and unthread about an inch of wire and make a circle and wrap around thescrew and tighten the bolt back up and that is only the ground for the passenger side!
U then need to make another ground in the same manner for the driver side!

I dont think so but maybe, u just dont have constant ground at that bolt! For some very odd reason they actually worked for u that way! The connection doesnt look to solid either so it may be just working itself loose over time!
redo it ASAP!!!
